"Just drink myself to death." – Peep Show S1 E3

Two Very Different Party Strategies

In Peep Show Season 1, Episode 3, Mark and Jeremy shop for cheap tins and argue over a party invitation Mark does not want. The line "Do I look like the kind of man who goes to wicked parties?" lands at 0:48 as a deadpan refusal. The line "Just drink myself to death." lands at 2:40, when Mark settles in to sulk at the party and resigns himself to drinking alone.

• 2:40 “Just drink myself to death.”
• 0:48 “Do I look like the kind of man who goes to wicked parties?”
